Praying for One Another
(Based on the prayers of the apostle Paul)
· Salvation
· Maturity (the following prayers address this specifically)
· To be given wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God
· That we would grow in our walk with Him – knowing Him intimately
· That our hearts would be enlightened with truth
· That we would know the hope of God’s calling us
· That we would know the riches of His glorious inheritance in us
· That we would know the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe
· That we would be strengthened through His Spirit in the inner man
· That we would better comprehend the vastness of the love of Christ
· That our love would abound in real knowledge and discernment
· That we would approve the things which are excellent
· That we would be sincere and blameless until Christ returns
· That we would be filled with the knowledge of His will
· That we would walk in a manner worthy of the Lord & His calling us
· That we would please Him in all that we do
· That God would cause fruit to bear in our good works
· That we would abound in our love toward one another and all men
· That our hearts would be comforted & strengthened in every good work and word
· That our hearts would be directed and grounded in the love of God
· That we would be steadfast in Christ
· That the sharing of our faith would be effective
· That God would equip us in every good thing in order to accomplish His will
